10.1'' reflector  43 x with Nebula filter

Easily found at low power sweeping through southern Aquarius, but much more difficult to see at higher powers. It has a very dim even glow across the entire face, but prolonged averted vision reveals it to be darker in the middle with some brightening towards the north and south edges. This is perhaps the best example of a large diffuse planetary nebula, most enjoyable! Apparent size is about 13'. Central star and helical structure not visible.
