10.1'' reflector
192x June 8, 2002 7:00 UT Located Pluto by moving 3-1/2 degrees NNW of Eta Ophiuchi. The bright star in the center of the field is HD154202, magnitude 6.91. Pluto is 4' NW of the star shining at magnitude 13.8. HD154202 is 400 light years away but it is 7 magnitudes brighter than Pluto which is only 4 light hours away (a million times closer). |
