globular cluster in Aquarius

10.1'' reflector  115 x

A whitish, almost blue-coloured cluster that is fairly compressed with an apparent size of 8'. A fairly bright star (approx. 9th magnitude) lies on the north-east edge. Many stars are easily resolvable.  Easily spotted in the finderscope; it stands out well against the relatively starless Aquarius background.
