10.1" reflector   96 x  Speers-Waler ep.

A dim galaxy overall, with a concentrated core. Appears very circular but perhaps slightly oblong in the south-east north-west direction. There are slight hints of the bar that connects the core to the outer ring of the galaxy. Slightly smaller and dimmer than M96.

M95 is part of the Leo Galaxy Group, which includes the M65,M66, NGC 3628 triple, the M105 and NGC 3384 pair, and M96.
